William turned 8 on Friday! Nolan's family was visiting from Kansas so his first birthday present? Nolan slept over on Thursday. There was a lot of the "anything" game - I will explain later, Wii playing, light saber fighting and not to mention LAUGHTER. Man, we miss that kid (and his family). What happened on Friday? Cars 2 came out!! Perfect! So we went, and I called Q's mom (another good friend who moved, they stayed in state, but are about an hour away from us), and they met us at the theater, we also took cousin/bestie Tyler. Matty was speechless through the entire movie, which is saying A LOT. Honestly it was a tad bit long for my liking but it was GREAT! Mater totally stole the show. Nolan's parents met us after the movie, honestly I teared up a little when he got into their van. Q came home with us and we let them play before we took him to his grandparents. Again, listening to them play made my heart happy, I heard my son laugh his deep belly laugh and grin from ear to ear, two days in a row.
I was stressed beyond belief about Saturday, William got baptized, I had to give a talk. I haven't given a talk in church for about oh 9, yep NINE years! How have I dodged that bullet? I don't know. Maybe our currant ward got a memo from our last ward that I talked so long that the bishop had to stand up and stop me. I need to learn to calm down and trust my gut that everything will be fine, because everything was fine, in fact it was a GREAT day. I will post pictures soon. I promise.
We had about 37 family members and friends come to support us. I made BBQ chicken sandwiches, and family brought salads. William was beaming and just so happy. I can't tell you how happy and proud I am that I have a husband who honors his priesthood and was able to baptize and confirm our child. He did a great job, unfortunately Matty was sitting on my lap and asking me what my boobs were during the blessing part of it so I didn't hear much. We got William his own set of scriptures and the Star Wars III the Clone Wars wii game.
It was an amazing weekend! One filled with lots of love, laughter, family, friends, and feeling the spirit.

I hate giving talks. I wish I was totally comfortable and interesting..but I know that is way to much to ask for!!
