"Uh, can I talk to someone else please?"

I started my shift today and I was CERTAIN that today was Saturday, so I took my first call and this lady was trying to check-in online and was having problems so I pulled up her reservation and explained that it had to be under 24 hours prior to her scheduled departure to which she replies, "yes my departure is today", and I say "no today is Saturday". She didn't argue with me she, she just asks, "what day is it in New York?" I say "SATURDAY", to which she replies, "uh can I talk to someone else", I say "sure no problem", it wasn't until I was about to transfer her that I realized that SHE was right and I was wrong!! I was SO embarrassed, luckily she had hung up. I had to stop taking calls for a few minutes so I could compose myself and stop laughing!!! What a great way to start the day!
