Matty's preschool

I finally heard from someone at the Early Learning Center and Matthew is indeed going to be going to pre-school at the Elementary school, there are 2 Elementary schools near our home, William goes to the closest one and Matthew will go to the other one..... UH crap... We only have one car... We will have to do A LOT of walking... Oh well... So here's the deal...
He had enough red flags (his speech and anxiety) to warrant further evaluation, so he will go to 30 days of free preschool and then they will re-evaluate him to see if he qualifies for the special education program. Which would be free of charge to us and he would continue going Mon-Thurs and he would be picked up and dropped off by the bus (which would help me a TON), but if he doesn't qualify for special education then we will be given the choice to take him out of preschool or leave him in as a tuition student, $60 a month, twice a week, he HAS to be potty trained (which he is nowhere near being so..)and we have to get him there ourselves.... I really really feel like he needs the special education, but I also feel like he has made a lot of growth since he was tested in May. So he probably won't qualify for special education, so now I'm having MAJOR stress over getting him potty trained!!!! Because either way I feel like he needs this preschool... AH the stress, BRING IT, I guess, I have no choice...
I want to get him the potty Elmo doll. I used the potty training in less than a day method with William, but the potty doll that we currently have Matthew likes to carry around and calls it baby and kisses it on the head and puts it to sleep in his bed. Its SO SO adorable and every time I say that the baby wants to go potty he runs and grabs the baby and puts it in bed and says "baby shhhh." He like Elmo so I'm thinking maybe potty Elmo would be better than the baby... I don't know.......

good luck with everything... wish I knew about potty training, but seeing as I don't have kids, I can't help there :( I hope everything goes okay with the special ed testing... I know how long and hard that can be. good luck!
