Meeting Eva, my Gall Bladder, and my lack of organization....

The Housley's and my In-Laws got home from China on Thursday! Eva is just delightful! She was all smiles and giggles at the airport. I thought she would've gotten scared at ALL the new people she had to meet in her family but she was just happy as a clam! Our camera's batteries are dead and my new phone will not connect to the internet anymore (even though that is the main reason I got that phone) so I can't upload the few pics I got of her.... I was shocked at how fast she is on her crooked little foot and how happy she seems to be. My sis-in-law got her a cute little HSM purse with hair clips and candy inside, and true to form as soon as someone opened her candy she had to share with EVERYONE before she ate one herself. It was SO cute and sweet. Matthew was also true to form and just wanted me to hold him and wanted nothing of the running around with and hugging all his cousins...... When we finally made it out to the parking garage Matty was coming around and said Hi to her and gave her a little hug. I'm looking forward to watching her learn and grow! Congratulations Housley's on your beautiful new addition!
I may have to start a new blog completely dedicated to my medical history and my adventures going to and in the Emergency Room. Thursday night I went to bed early, Andrew was still up and so were the boys, but my stomach was a little upset and I wanted to lay down, so I did after making sure everyone was okay for bed.... Then at 3 am (Friday) I woke up and my stomach was on fire! I thought it was just my acid reflux, so I chugged a large portion of Pepto and waited for it to do its magic. It wasn't working. I tried everything, laying on my side, going on all 4, even laid over my exercise ball, nothing was making the pain go away. Off to the ER we head, sleepy boys and all. Andrew came in to help me check-in and then went back home with the boys. I didn't like being there without him, but I didn't want to bring in the boys either. So I tell the ER doc that this happened about a month and a half ago and so they gave me the same "GI cocktail" that helped last time. It didn't help this time, they got an IV going and took blood and gave me a pain killer, finally I got some release from my internal inferno. They took x-rays and found nothing, and I needed to have the painkiller coming otherwise the burn returned. So they did an ultrasound and guess what they found?!? A BABY!! Just kidding (yes I'm totally baby hungry, STILL) NO, it showed a quarter sized gall stone, on Monday I will meet with the surgeon and will hopefully be one gall bladder lighter on Tuesday or Wednesday. The ER doc also informed me that if I lose at least 20 pounds it would help with the symptoms, okay thanks buddy, I'm on it...... Funny how now that I am actually losing weight I get diagnosed with 2 things that can be helped with weight loss, Acid Reflux and Gall Bladder disease, yet 20 pounds heavier my biggest complaint was just the way I looked.... I'm also going in for a sleep study to see if I have sleep apnea (another thing that can be cured by weight loss....) So in the mean time I have been told to avoid caffiene (sigh), anything greasy, fried or too high in calories, sure, no problem...
No problem, except for my job, you can't miss days or be late or you will get points and too many points you get in trouble and can eventually get fired for it... There are also training meetings we have to go to and if we don't come we get points for that too. Last summer some things happened and I ended up getting on "progressive probation" for my attendance, so I was working REALLY hard to get rid of my points and not missing any of my shifts. I was finally down to 4 points!! No big deal, then I had signed up for training, wrote the time of the training but not what it actually was on my calender. I kept checking my schedual to see why I had written that time down, not until tonight did I realize it was for the training I had signed up for!! CRAP! Also this week I was supposed to complete an online training course and the night before the deadline to complete the course, I remembered, but by the time the boys were in bed I just went to bed without taking the stupid course!!! CRAP!! Then Friday I was in NO shape to work and so I called in sick, CRAP! So if I get all the points that these things will give me I will be on final probation and also have to work my shifts at the center, CRAP! But my supe had me fax her the letter I had the ER doc give me and so hopefully I will only earn 4 points rather than 8....... As we only have one car, two children and my husband works CRAZY hours, please pray for me that ALL this CRAP will work out somehow!!!! And that I can catch a break, somewhere, I'm a good person, I try to help those around me, I don't smoke or drink, so far I haven't left my kids anywhere for the weekend and not come back......I'm working on lowering my yelling voice, and gosh dang it people like me....... and I'm pretty cute too....
I'm random I know..

When it rains, it pours! I hate those weeks....months...or sometimes years!

Good luck. I hope everything goes OK with the Gall Bladder. That sucks.
I think that Derek has a Gall Bladder problem, but the Dr. keeps saying it is from a pulled muscle. Ummm, he has had a pulled muscle for a year now.
Sooner or later it will bother him so bad he will take care of it.

Anyway, Love ya!
