Halloween!

William was Batman and Matthew was Superman. We went to Will's school carnival and we didn't have his costume yet and so he went as Darth Vader. He was very concerned that his teacher didn't get to see him in his Batman costume.. The carnival was fun, or I should say parts of it were fun, the "train" that was pulled by a john deere and the games they had were all very kid friendly. But it was crowded and hot and apparently other people found where to get the loads of candy except us, which I'm not complaining, I've already eaten too much of the little we got trick or treating!! We did run into Audrey (Andrew's sister), Kendall, Tate and Tyler there and lots of neighbors and friends.

We have a tradition of going over to Audrey's house and going trick or treating in their neighborhood. Andrew's other sister Jen and her daughter Kayla come too and they were there this year with cute lil Peter. Peter wore Matthew's horse costume from 2 years ago, and they look like twins! Or maybe its just their fat lil cheeks! Matthew would want to just hold onto all his candy, when it was dropped into his bucket he would reach into his bucket to get it out. He couldn't say "trick or treat" we finally got him to say "candy peese" it was SO cute! All in all it was a fun night and I'm looking forward to next year and I'm going to make an honest effort to make their costumes next year!! (The horse on the left is Matty and Peter is on the right)

Too cute, the carnival looked like so much fun! Adler was that same horse his first Halloween, he would have been about 3 months old! Was Matt by chance a pirate last year? Lol

Oh, my goodness. Your kids must have had a blast. I love all of their costumes!

I tried to change your blog address but it would not change. Would you send me the new address again (to my e-mail)???

Love you!!

what a fun idea to have a school carnival! But as a teacher, I really don't mind halloween (Christmas is way worse because it just goes on and on all month!) But I think a carnival might be more fun than a little class party. Cute costumes!!
