Do I Dare?? And just because I'm chubby doesn't mean I don't know stuff!!

Do I dare to Zumba?? IDK the class tomorrow morning is a step n zumba, my calves seriously hurt SO BAD, and still do, but not so much now.  I've never done Zumba do I dare try to do both?

So since my calves were killing me I decided to swim laps today, and when I was done I went into the sauna, and there was a tiny older woman with a strapless yellow swimsuit on, and her hair was all crazy, then she started talking to me, she is from Korea and kind of hard to understand, but from what I could gather, she has been a member of Gold's since they opened, I need to go to the gym and do the elliptical and weights and sauna  everyday and I will lose lots of weight "real fast".  Oh, and I shouldn't swim everyday because it will ruin my hair.  She was funny, but then I went and got into the hot tub and she came in and told me the same thing, TWICE, just in a different order..... I got it, I got it....  I know a thing or two about fitness and working out, I have after all been doing it for a while now.

My husband is my hero, he got a vasectomy today, it makes me SO SAD, but I know its just not safe for me to have another kid.  He is doing well, he's never had more than his wisdom teeth pulled so he was nervous, but it was a snap.  The doctor recommended NOTHING for the next 48 hours, and nothing over 10 lbs, the baby weighs 11 :( so he can hold him on the couch but he can't get up in the night with him - double :(

I can't believe she told you twice! I mean you just had a baby! What does she expect? I wouldn't feel to bad from it.

That is so sweet your hubby did that! He really loves you! It shows not because he got the vasectomy but that he did it so you wouldn't chance your health!

I am going to try Zumba. I hear you feel like a total dork...but it is fun.

Good luck to your hubby. It is no fun at all. But he should be back to normal very soon!

A competitive swimmer I once knew said the way she kept her hair from being ruined by the chlorine was to put conditioner on it while the hair was still dry - before getting into the pool. That way, the dry hair soaks up the conditioner instead of the chlorine. I do know my hair seemed a lot healthier when I followed her advice. The woman sounds like she may have been lonely. Might have just been full of herself and her own ideas, too, though. :D

Hope your hubby is healing well, and that you're getting plenty of rest.
