Today I'm thankful that medicine has advanced, because without it I wouldn't have my Matthew he would of died shortly after birth, due to a lung infection that kept him in the NICU for 3 weeks... He was on a respirator for a week and came home on oxygen... Even though it's one of the hardest trials I've been through to date, I wouldn't change a thing. He brightens my day and makes me happy, his laugh is contagious and is one of the most wonderful sounds on earth! He is so loving and man alive does he love to cuddle!! His voice is so sweet and cute, he is talking more which I'm also thankful for, I wish he would say more but all in his own time.... Just like the NICU, the last week he was there it was like he just didn't want to leave, he was totally fine but would become lazy about eating on his own, so he just decided to chill in the hospital. He is such a sweet boy and I'm so happy he is mine.
