I didn't even cry!!

About what?? William's first day of Kindergarten! He was SO excited and just said "bye mom" and ran in with all the kids! I'm SO SO proud of my little guy, he is such a tender-hearted kid and I was a little worried about him going but then I realized he isn't much different from the rest of the kids and his teacher will be there to supervise and he has friends in his class...There are 5 boys and 1 girl from our neighborhood/ward that are in his class and one of them is Quinton one of his best friends. His teacher is brand new and this is her first year teaching but she seems really good and sweet. It was also so sweet when I went to pick him up and his other best friend Nolan (they aren't in the same class but they decided it was okay and that they could still be friends dispite this) didn't want to leave without his friend Will, and they held hands on the way home.
Last night we talked about special blessings that daddy can give us because he has the priesthood. So this morning after he got ready he asked daddy for a special blessing so that he can be brave at school. I'm thankful that I have a husband that honors his preisthood and can give me and our children blessings. Growing up with my grandparents it was always my grandpa that was giving me blessings and never my father, either one, and so early on I knew I wanted to have that in my home to have my children know that their dad can bless them, so thanks sweets for being the honorable man that you are and living up to your responsibilites both as a preisthood holder and as a father, I love you!
I will post pics asap!!

Good job with Will. You're much more brave than I was. I still got choked up when Carter started 2nd grade last week. :)

So glad he did good too. It's nice that we don't have to worry really. I just wish today wasn't early day! ;)

You are much braver than I think I am going to be! I have a few years though! But isn't such a proud feeling to see them off to school! Fun Times!!

I posted this on my blog as a response to the comment you left for me just not sure if you would see that it or not.

Of course I remember exchanging notes and of course Mrs. Rotter! Jr High was definately my better days as far as having alot of good friends. If it weren't for jr high I would have never met you guys! I wonder what ever happened to Breezy? She was such a cute girl! I see Jenny has a blog but I haven't got into contact with her yet.

Yes, that is the same guy! Creepy huh!!
