William is going to be 5 tomorrow!!!!

I can't believe it! I remember how excited I was when we got pregnant with him. We got married in August and in November I was schedualed to have surgery to diagnois/treat my endometriosis, I ended up being pregnant and actually ended up having a miscarriage in January, we were devastated but it made us realize how much we wanted a child and that we didn't want to wait until we were done with school (the original plan when we first got married) I also wanted to run a marathon so I trained for and ran the St. George marathon on October 5, 2002 and a few weeks after that we found out that I was prego!! I had planned on having an all natural birth, my doc took one look at my ultrasound and said it wouldn't be possible for me to have natural births, so we planned my c-section on June 24th, 2003 and he was born at 8:03 am weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 21 and a half inches long. Andrew was the only one allowed in the operating room but my grandparents, sister and my cousin Heather were all waiting anxiously to see him. And now 5 years later I'm so proud of my big boy! He is so happy and just a joy to have around, he makes everyday exciting and fun. He is so curious about everything and seems to have the biggest heart. I love that he got my laid-back attitude and his father's sense of humor. I still can't decide who he looks like or where he gets some of his personality traits but I guess it rings true that every child is born with their OWN personality, he is definatately one of a kind! I love you William and I'm so happy you chose me to be your mommy!
